With the weather turning warmer, I was so excited to be able to break out one of my favourite dresses. I'm a little in love with maxi dresses in general. By adding a foot or so of fabric to the end of a regular dress, they afford so much more glamour and elegance. I'm always amused when someone will tell me I look so fancy and dressed up wearing something like this. It really is a lot less work to throw on a dress than have to pair jeans with a top and cardigan.I particularly love the cut of this maxi dress from Anthropologie--fitted through the top and fabulously flowing on the bottom. As Chicago weather can often turn chilly, even when it starts out beautifully warm (as indeed it did while we were shooting), I paired it with an old cardigan and an H&M scarf, just to give it a pop of colour. Can't wait for all the warm, sunny days to come!
