Paris holds a special place in my heart. I just love the city (and yearn for the next time I'll be able to visit) so when I came across this neoprene skirt with a map of Paris on it last year, I couldn't help but snatch it up. Pretty pastels are not normally part of my repertoire, but the fun colours of the skirt and the warm, Spring-like weather called out for it. There are certainly a lot of colours in this outfit! But I say, why shy away from colour? Embrace it! Especially after a winter like we had in Chicago. I'm also a little in love with these pink shoes from Modcloth. They remind me of the shoes that Kathy Selden wore in Singin' in the Rain, which I've always wanted. I'll have to try my hand at tap dancing in them and learn a few numbers from Singin' in the Rain (already working on Moses Supposes)!
