It's been so ridiculously cold in Chicago recently that sometimes you just need to curl up at home with your pup and a mug of hot chocolate. I love the whimsy of this top, with its bright colours and adorable beaded collar. There is a tendency to get sucked into dark, gloomy colours in the wintertime, so it brings some much-needed brightness and warmth. These Cole Haan boots are my new favourite boots. I spent a long time looking for new black boots, and I finally lucked out around Christmastime. I really wanted simplicity with these boots, as I knew these would be a go-to for many an outfit.
