Inspiration: Zooey Deschanel

I'm sure we all gravitate towards certain style icons--certain individuals with fabulous wardrobes and impeccable styling that we're just drawn to. For me, one of my big style inspirations is Zooey Deschanel, a wonderful actress I've only recently discovered through watching New Girl these last couple years.Three things in particular I adore about her style: colour, cut and whimsy. No grey, monochromatic slouchy outfits for this one! Bold colours, flattering, A-line dresses with a very vintage '50s feel, and just a dash of quirkiness. I also love that she just embraces femininity--not afraid of bows, florals or a little bit of tulle. Definitely a style I'm inspired by!
